This writing prompt was a request to explain in 500 words or less how to use a new feature called Greeting, which is an embedded feature in another software application.

Welcome to the Greeting app

This article describes a new feature that is available to users on Productname.com.

Greeting is an easy way to create and send customizable birthday notes, thank you notes, or any greeting you choose.

On Productname.com

1. Log in to your Productname account.

2. Click Create new file.

3. Click Create new greeting from the dropdown that appears.

A new greeting file will open.

How to customize your greeting

You can add a message and an image to your greeting and change the background and border colors.

1. Click Type your text here to add the greeting’s message.

2. Click Add image to select any image from your Productname files. To use an image from your device, select any JPEG image less than 40 MB. Once you’ve chosen an image, click Add.

3. Click the pencil icon (edit) in the top right corner. Select Change background color or Change border color.

· Select an available color or select custom to add a color or mix your own, then click update.

How to send your greeting

1. Type the recipient’s email address in the TO field.

2. Click Send Greeting.

How does the recipient read the greeting?

The recipient doesn’t need a Productname account to view the greeting you sent them. They’ll receive an email with a link that opens the greeting.

If they want to save, share, or download the greeting, they must log in to their Productname account or create one using the same email address where they received the greeting. The greeting file is saved on Productname, just like other files.
